This creation tells of a marvelous discovery that Tiziana and Paolo made during a fascinating childhood journey to the much loved and unique Italian city, Milan. They discovered the new moon, also known as the black moon.This lunar cycle of rebirth is considered by many, a good omen, a sign of good luck, prosperity and future happiness. Milan is the city that never sleeps, always active and industrious, always alive and full of new trends that soon become fashionable all over the world. The two children were traveling with their grandfather who, as a young man, had served as an officer in the Italian Cavalry in Milan. The city appeared enormous in their infant eyes, exciting and full of bright lights, forever pulsating like stars in the night-sky. While the pair walked through the streets of Brera to the dome of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, from every corner the summer air oozed with aromas and scents. The great historic buildings look out imposingly on the city, their secrets and mysteries wrapped in fantastic stories, hidden behind their giant portals of scented wood. Here at night, in the middle of the Piazza del Duomo, the black moon appeared before their eyes for the first time, immensely beautiful and as elusive as the acrobatic alchemy of this unique and exclusive creation. The fragrance opens with the sparkling and precious intensity of Italian saffron which embracies the intense bouquet of specially selected petals. Absolute Bulgarian rose and pink geranium is combined with precious magnolia, which blooms but one day a year, steeped with ylang ylang, and Cypriol resin. This persistent and elegant head lies on a strong and regal heart of Orris, a rare root of aristocratic nobility, surrounded by precious Cuban cedar and Guaiac Wood. Gurjum balsam resins act as a bridge to an intense and regal base of decisive and concrete power, created by the combination of pricless woods, ancient essences from the Terenzi Family's olfactory library. Here lies ambergris and then black oud of India, here imperial musk, steeped with the red patchouli for over 45 years, is sweetened by the flowers of Tahitian vanilla and sandalwood bark.
