Le Trou 19 du Phare

After his stay in Honfleur, Albert Fouquet traveled annually with his friend Christian to Biarritz, where they met Simon and Thomas — confidants who managed his vineyards. They discussed the progress of the harvest at the Hôtel du Palais, after which friendship and relaxation took center stage.

The four played their traditional golf match at Le Phare, followed by the “19th Hole” ritual: a dinner, a trophy, and a swim in the sea for the losers. During one of these gatherings, Thomas gave Albert a bouquet of home-grown geraniums, asking him to make a perfume from them. The following year, Fouquet surprised his friends with the result: “Le Trou 19 Du Phare,” a unique perfume inspired by their friendship and tradition.
