Cubia

In maritime terms, the "occhi di cubia" refer to the hole in the forward part of a ship, through which both the anchor chain and mooring lines pass. This tradition dates back to ancient times, when the Romans used 'trabaccoli', small sailing ships for transport and fishing in the Adriatic Sea. Concentric circles were painted on these cubias, resembling eyes. It was believed that these eyes could guide and protect the ship during navigation.

In our hometown of Cattolica, a maritime city, the "occhi di cubia" have become the symbol to honor ancient maritime traditions. Cubia represents luck and protection for ships and sailors. Our creation, inspired by this ancient amulet, carries a magical and auspicious power. The fragrance opens with citrus notes, such as Sorrento Lemon and Calabrian Bergamot, mixed with Brazilian Orange. This top note is softened by Romagna peaches and blackcurrants. The base contains rare woods such as Atlas cedar, Patchouli from Indonesia and Sandalwood from India.

Cubia envelops you in a sweet protective aura, comparable to the protection that ships enjoy at sea.
